Astringent, diuretic and laxative. Rosehip is prized mostly for its rich content of vitamin C (100 g of rosehip can contain more vitamin C than one kilo of lemons). Other important substances include Beta-carotene and vitamin A. Has traditionally been used against fatigue and colds, and has demonstrated good properties against various forms of arthritis, and in treating bleeding gums. Can alleviate toothache.
